Acupuncture Services

Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese Medicine that dates back over 2000 years. With the insertion of a sterile needle, the nervous system is stimulated to encourage natural healing, reduce or relieve pain and tension/trigger points, and improve mood or relax the individual – the goal of acupuncture is balance or homeostasis.

Needles are inserted into acupuncture points on the skin. Acupuncture pathways are often called ‘meridians’ or ‘channels’ and are believed to be the pathways by which energy travels. Certain acupuncture points correspond to certain ailments or conditions or causes of pain.
